🚨 #mufc are not planning to include Andre Onana in their squad next season. He was hopeful of returning to United to compete with No.1 Senne Lammens ahead of next season, but the 30-year-old is not in the club's plans. Also, Man United would be open to signing a goalkeeper this summer. [@RobDawsonESPN]

🚨💰| @samuelluckhurst: “Mason Mount’s salary will increase to £250,000-a-week with United back in the Champions League. “Those wages for a squad player would make Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s jaw drop but United could maximise Mount with more matches, if he is more available.” #MUFC [SUN]

Bruno Fernandes needs three assists in the final five games of the Premier League season to break Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne's single season record. 😲 Will he do it? 🤔👀

🚨🗣 Ben Foster: "Bruno would start for Man City and Arsenal" 🗣Ben Tozer: "He would not, NO CHANCE, not for Arsenal. He plays probably No.12 on the bench, Cause he wouldn't work hard enough out of possession to start with" [The Football Fill-in]

When a project must attack others to succeed I believe that sheds light on what’s holding it up. Pigeon community won’t need to attack others to survive. That’s why GitHub live and I’m working. Once a meme needs to attack perceived threats they’re no longer a leader. PIGEON

🚨 NEW: Under Amorim, young players would often only find out in the morning if they were needed to make up the numbers with the first team. On one occasion, Bruno Fernandes approached Amorim and his staff to suggest that one young player should be getting more opportunities. That kind of intervention is unlikely to be needed under Carrick, who has taken it upon himself to get up to speed quickly on which prospects are progressing well. [@RobDawsonESPN]

Last month, @TheAthleticFC released an updated list of their Top 60 #PL Players of All Time. Some highlights: - Wayne Rooney 9th - David Silva over Paul Scholes - Jamie Vardy over Ruud van Nistelrooy - Didn't name Nemanja Vidic... 👀😶 [via @sportbible]

Today on my show, I challenged Nigeria for not producing its own fighter jet. In case you don’t know, to develop the JF Thunder fighter jet, Pakistan and China spent 250 million dollars each. Just for your information, President Tinubu spent 150 million dollars to buy a Tokunbo plane. For the ignorant ones, it’s not that Nigeria can’t develop its own fighter jet; we just have leaders that prioritise waste over development.

Mbeumo: Ruben Amorim changed Manchester United. Cunha: Amorim made us play this way. Bruno Fernandes: Amorim improved us a lot in ball retention. Pep: Amorim was this close if only he had beaten Wolves, Burnley and Everton, he would be competing with Arsenal. I’ve watched and played football for so many years, so when I speak on certain things, I know I’m 90% correct. Amorim did a lot for this team not even to mention how teams used to play us off the pitch in possession. It was so bad to watch us play. We couldn’t even keep the ball for 30 seconds back then. The discipline he showed to these players no more player power. He managed to sell so many deadwood players and could have done even more. And now Carrick is just handling the easier footballing part.

You remember how Aston Villa wanted to sell Emi Martinez and replace him with Senne Lammens? Then Man Utd went for Lammens instead and it hasn’t turned out as bad business. Now we’re hearing that Brighton want to sell Baleba and replace him with Caleb Yirenkyi and they want £100M or more for Baleba. Man Utd are monitoring Yirenkyi as well. His club are demanding about £22M for the player. Do you think they should go for Caleb Yirenkyi instead?

🚨 Ruben Amorim pushed for a LB, and Carrick won't have a firm, valued opinion. If the system changes, it will be unknown as to what exactly is of interest. There aren't really any concrete fullback targets yet, LW over fullback is the focus at this stage. If Maguire stays, the club may focus on a LW that can play LB. If Maguire goes, the club may focus on a left-sided CB that can play LB. On the right-hand side, they needto think about the future and whether they need a younger player there. [@JacobsBen, @UnitedStandMUFC]

Amorim was trying to coach us to play a different style for the long term. Carrick is not doing anything for the long term, he’s doing what he knows these players are comfortable with for the best possible short term results. It takes barely above room temperature IQ to grasp.
