It was an honor to host @WhipKClark and @RepHoulahan in Wilmington today for a roundtable conversation in partnership with @NewDemCoalition focused on building a stronger, more affordable care economy. We brought together Delaware providers, small business owners, labor leaders, advocates, and nonprofit leaders who are on the frontlines of caregiving, workforce development, and economic policy. Because creating an economy that works for all is only possible when we create a care infrastructure that benefits working families.

Today is the anniversary of the Family and Medical Leave Act, which gave workers the right to job-protected, unpaid time off to care for themselves, their families, or a new child. It's time to expand to paid family and medical leave.

FMLA turns 32 this week. It’s been used 500 million times, but the U.S. still lags behind as one of the only countries in the world that does not have a guaranteed, comprehensive paid family leave program nationally. #PaidLeaveForAll
