@Finstey This is the first gacha game that legitimately has things to do besides farming materials, story quests and some totally pointless side activities like ZZZ arcade. It has objectively worse combat than some other games, but it offers other things competition doesn't even touch

@Superguy551 Considering the size of the map, they aren't making the game to make a anti AI statement, they are a business and are making it for profit. That's the only incentive and AI help this incentive. It's as simple as that

@Superguy551 There's absolutely no chance that they won't use gen AI. I can guarantee you that with 99% certainty. They will utilize their human atrists for core assets, cutsceens etc. but they will absolutely use AI for the open world

@schizohealer I'm pretty much a leftist and I don't give a fuck about gen AI for in-game assets. I don't think there's 1 to 1 correlation to "leftists" and these people. They are mostly vtubers and artists who feel threatened by gen AI. That's the reason they are this loud

@ecutruin @ClownOats Because they fired multiple of their artists and replaced them with Generative AI. Do not only is gen AI incredibly bad for the environment but also a lot of people lost their jobs and this was probably their fixed income.

@SparklezPawz what are you even saying??? Your character could be put into an anime with a label on a wiki saying 14 years old and NOBODY would bet an eye. There is obviously a very blurry line when it comes to drawn characters. She could as easily have a label of 25 years old

@SparklezPawz I guess we just have a different view of what a loli is. Loli doesn't have to be a literal toddler or kindle garden looking character. The image would pass as a loli in an anime depending on character's height

From my subjective personal experience, I don't think so. I haven't been around any pro gamers though so my experience is very limited

“Biological Girls Only” in a VALORANT tournament… The whole reason I love competing in esports rather than actual sports is because there is no biological advantage/disadvantage to playing video games. So I don’t understand the reasoning behind excluding trans women in this.
