@ringmagazine Let me put things into perspective for Roy... Roy Jones beat John Ruiz, a slow alphabet soup champ. Usyk is a Hall of Famer and the best Heavyweight of his era. It would have been like Roy Jones facing Lennox Lewis. Y'all need to slow down with this Usyk vs Benavidez stuff.

It's worth noting Top Rank, to their credit, wasn't putting on many PPVs back then. Even the Teo fight was on ESPN. Unless you're a mega star, PPVs merely limit your audience w/o the pay off

@ringmagazine @MikeCoppinger He can’t draw flies to a picnic. The biggest hype job out of Top Rank. Another middle aged Eastern European fighter with hundreds of amateur fights and no fans. Only 21 professional fights. Throw him to Tank and let him get his send off to “oblivion.”

@Taegoe @Noo_Barzz You're leaving out some context. Bud said this bc Al & PBC did not want this fight. And despite that, Spence still accepted. It takes two to make a fight. Spence wanted Bud just as much as Bud wanted him. He reportedly told Al after waking up from the car wreck, he wanted Bud.

@petarg86 @SteveKim323 Him and Teo packed the house at MSG, but according to someone who was there, outside of a few moments, the crowd was bored to tears for most of the fight. Shakur is going to need strong names/matchups to continue pulling crowds like that.

@ddavid2320 @Boxingego Agreed about Beterbiev, but I believe he can't be above Bivol, after Bivol beat him. Both fights were competitive, so it wasn't a fluke. Bivol belongs in my opinion.

@deleon_PYP @Boxingego List is subjective. Every boxer on the list is a multi division champion except Bivol. I’d put beterbiev there before bivol. Beterbiev beat every champion at 175. Bivol beat 1 champion and Canelo, a small super middleweight.

🚨🚨 Boxing is super FAKE. Shakur Stevenson is ranked #3 on RING p4p list, but won’t move up to 147 lbs to fight Ryan Garcia who he says is weak, yet David Benavidez #5 after moving up to 25 lbs and stopping a 220+ lbs champion Zurdo making him No Mas. How come the PBC fighters always held to a higher standard than everyone yall say is greater than them? What are we basing rankings on eye test or what you’ve done? Zurdo never been stopped (not even by Bivol who’s on the p4p list), Andrade was undefeated had never been stopped, Anthony Dirrell had never been stopped, Benavidez STOPPED them ALL.

@Boxingego It's not that hard. Benavidez has only beat one real champion his whole career... and that was this past fight vs Zurdo. He's never beat the #1 fighter in any division he's fought in. 168 is not totally his fault,but losing his place in line twice bc of a lack of a discipline is
