yesterday i made a decision that in april i’m focusing on studying korean only. i didn’t take additional shifts and later i also won’t be able to study much because of the trip and i’m scared to fail this semester so… we are so backkkkkk!

@_hamstudy ive been studying french for almost 10 years now and it definitely makes more sense than korean but also still less than english so i think its not a you issue at all🫂 it just takes time and as long as you're putting effort and doing your best you WILL make progress

@delicataurus you are right about that 🥹 it’s actually problem with my attitude i think. but i don’t remember struggling this much with english back then. it clicked one day meanwhile here i thought i do better i actually it turns out i don’t…

one of the reasons why i want to give up on attending sejong is to focus on conversational, natural korean. my friend just told me i talk quite unnaturally like a robot because it’s textbook language 🤣 she told me koreans will understand what i say but i sound weird sometimes

@_hamstudy i had the same experience with english actually!! and i think its different with eng cause its more integrated in our day to day life so its much more accessible and easier to practice (we're really actively practicing it rn lol) but with other langs its definitely longer/harder

@_hamstudy i get how you feel though and its very valid tbh, however i think your efforts arent really wasted at all
