NEW: Tulane University police fatally shoot man who allegedly shot two people on campus On Thursday outside Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, 38-year-old Lafimmas Leevon Haynes shot and critically wounded two people. A male Tulane University Police officer approached Haynes and a struggle ensued. Bodycam and bystander video shows Haynes reaching for the officer’s gun. A female TUPD officer then fired three shots, fatally striking Haynes. A gun was recovered at the scene.
