Tell me you're Catholic without telling me you're Catholic... I'll go first. I've defended the real presence in a comment section at least once

@TaylorRMarshall Technically you can also multiply the couple by 0 or 1... But I agree with the sentiment.

When God said “Be fruitful and MULTIPLY,” what did the word “multiply” entail? Which is the only way a couple “multiplies”?

The Vatican right is losing elections. They’re ending up in the hospital. They’re sick like dogs. It’s almost like Jesus is saying something.

@delphic_rabbit @poperespecter1 Incorrect. Self determination on the basis of genetic hierarchy is explicitly forbidden in the Gospel. The Jews are free to live peacefully where they please. They are not free to exterminate others on the basis of ethnicity, as Israel has done since its founding in 1948.

Catholicism and Zionism are antithetical. You cannot be both. You support Israel? You support this.

@delphic_rabbit @poperespecter1 Catholics cannot support the premise of the modern state of Israel - or Judaism - and practice the Catholic faith simultaneously. The two are antithetical beliefs. Only one is correct.

@TheRabbitHole This is the same identitarian slop as the left. Replace the woman with a white American and the man with a black American and swap the comparison to racial privilege. Twice as many women died during childbirth than men died during the war in 1917. Stop the oppression Olympics.

If schools and universities refuse to teach the great books of the West, we will do it ourselves. We started an independent group to study the Great Texts of the Western canon, together. ...and we are now 600 members strong! 🙌 What should we add to our reading list??

@DefiyantlyFree It's no different from saying Greco-Roman. Christians and Jews share the Old Testament. Matthew 5:17 - "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."

Saying we are not a Judeo-Christian nation because that word didn’t gain popularity until the 1930s is the reason why you should’ve listened to Podcadistan for news. They are as deep as a shot glass. Deuteronomy was the single most-cited work in founding-era political literature. Political scientist Donald Lutz conducted an extensive survey of American political documents from 1760 to 1805. The Bible was cited more frequently than any European writer or school of thought, accounting for roughly one-third of all citations and Deuteronomy alone was the most frequently cited work, cited nearly twice as often as John Locke’s entire corpus. Deuteronomy is in the Old Testament (in case the podcast bros want to actually pick up a Bible). Leviticus is literally inscribed on American founding iconography. The inscription on the Liberty Bell comes directly from Leviticus 25:10 “Proclaim liberty throughout all the Land, unto all the Inhabitants thereof.” Leviticus for the podcast bros is also in the Old Testament. Covenant theology from Leviticus and Deuteronomy shaped constitutionalism directly. The founders were drawn to Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28, which lay out the covenant relationship between the children of Israel and God, because they believed there was something to be learned for their own moment in developing a new nation. The Judeo-Christian concept of covenant informed ideas of compact, contract, and constitutionalism. But the community note. Again, this is why it’s important to have a brain.
