It’s less about 35 and 15, and moreso that DEN threw every defensive coverage at Shai and he picked them all apart while missing a good chunk of the starting lineup while DEN was not. They had no answer for Shai and lost a game they shouldn’t have

I think the under looked part of efficiency is efficiency of teammates shots. Luka takes and makes tough shots but creates the best quality looks for his teammates.
The gap between eFG% on passes by Luka(61.1%) & SGA (57.4%) is bigger than the gap in their shooting efficiency.

If Luka Dončić keeps up his level of play from the last couple weeks over the rest of the season, and the Lakers finish in the mid-50s, his MVP argument is going to be strong. There's a significant efficiency gap between him and SGA, but I think he can make up for it with the volume of his playmaking.

@Che7hunder @06kobe24 @notbpod Well the Mavs tend to run similar offenses with Kyrie as they would with Luka. The reason I give credit to Luka is because the offenses struggled with Kai running it. Kyrie can’t make the same passes Luka can but it’s not like it was a bad gameplan. It’s just we hit our shots

Mark/OKC was also playing percentages, they left bad shooters open and made them hit shots and they did. Was a gimmick that didn’t work. Didn’t have much to do with Luka
