@sholard_mancity Please let's embrace change, in western counties people shop in this markets stalls no longer disorgernised open air markets.
English

NTV yesterday aired reports that Githurai Market remained largely empty.
And honestly, this should shock the people who kept saying traders can simply be pushed to upper floors and Kenyans will “adapt.”
That is not how local markets work.
Most people in Gikomba or Githurai do not shop like they are in malls.
You pass by.
You see the item.
You buy.
You leave.
So why would someone climb to the 7th floor to buy what they can get downstairs or at another market?
This is why many upper floors are reportedly deserted.
And instead of learning, the same mistake is now being repeated in Gikomba.
Kenya keeps building “modern projects” without understanding how ordinary Kenyans actually live and shop.

@DanChepta The boy is remorseful and the mother can never understand the adrenaline that comes with football. She should just forgive him and tell him to handle himself carefully next time. I think it's only men who can understand the joy and passion that comes with it.

@Pomilej I despised Liverpool from that day I knew they were the worst fanbase there is, Arteta decided to give them a guard of honour went to pay his respects to Hillsborough memorial only to be humiliated like that. Guess what... The pundits and rivals said it was funny.

🔴⚪ OTD — One Year Ago.
Liverpool had just won the league. Their fans were celebrating at Anfield. And in the middle of all that joy, they found time to hold up a banner mocking Mikel Arteta in a bridesmaid dress.
"Always the Bridesmaid. Never the Bride."
Dear Arsenal fans, do you remember it?
Please never forget
Mehn. They couldn't even enjoy their own title without dragging us into it. That's how much Arsenal live rent-free in rival heads.
And our boys? They walked into that stadium, formed a guard of honour for the champions, and kept their heads down. No drama. No excuses. Just dignity.
Because when you're building something real, you don't need to respond. You let the work speak.
Fast forward 365 days.
Arsenal are sitting TOP of the Premier League. Two wins from the title. Liverpool are 20 points behind us — twenty — and Anfield is no longer making banners about Arteta. They're watching us from a distance, hoping we slip.
We are not slipping.
Read that again. Slowly. Let it sink in.
The same man they dressed in a bridesmaid gown is now the most feared manager in English football. The same squad that gave a guard of honour last season is now the one that will receive one.
That banner didn't break Arteta. It didn't break this team. If anything, it gave us receipts to cash in.
You know what the funny thing is? Liverpool fans thought they were mocking a man who couldn't win. What they were actually doing was documenting a moment — a before-and-after — that Arsenal fans will show their children one day.
"This is where we were. This is what they said. This is what we became."
It didn't break us. It made us strong.

@GhostalkNG @gooner_since05 @Arsenal Simply this isn't possible for Africans the way this guys are civilised.. it's not possible for wild Nigerian fans who will be jumping on the seats and become rowdy.
English

@gooner_since05 Clubs should set up several of these in countries where they have larger following and earn match day tickets from it...🤔
Imagine doing this for @Arsenal fans in some of the most popular states in Nigeria, if not all the states.

‼️🎙Luis Enrique on what would happen if he meets Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final:
“I’ve faced almost every Premier League club as PSG manager, and honestly, only Chelsea under Enzo Maresca gave me a real tactical challenge. Arsenal are a very good side, but if we meet them in the final, I believe it would be comfortable for us.
Sometimes football isn’t just about the quality of players you have, it’s about how the coach sets up his team. Arteta is a very good manager, but he doesn’t change much. His approach is predictable, and at this level, that can cost you. Maresca had surprises, tactical variations that forced us to think. With Arsenal, I don’t see that same unpredictability, and that’s why I’d back us to win another Champions League.
I respect Arsenal, but with the attacking threat PSG possess and the control we have in midfield, I’m convinced we would come out on top. Whether they press high or sit in a mid-block, we would find solutions and neutralize every threat they try to create.
I wish them well, but if the final is PSG against Arsenal, then I’ve already said what I believe will happen.”

🚨BREAKING: Fans are questioning what the point of having VAR is after what just happened in the UCL:
>The ref called a foul against Atlitico Madrid on Gabriel inside Arsenal's box.
>Immediately after, Griezmann got clearly fouled in the box (should be a penalty)
>The replay showed Gabriel never got fouled on the ref's initial call meaning play shouldn't have been stopped & Atleti should have a penalty.
>VAR reviewed nothing.
