@Her_Nonymous_D She’ll have to pay a fee, but it’s not that big of a problem. Or she can ask that the roommate let her know when she’s back in the dorm, so she can get in. There are so many things your daughter could do.

@Her_Nonymous_D It’s fine, shit happens. The roommate has no responsibility for looking out for your daughter. Your daughter could just as easily reached out to her roommate and asked “hey, if you swing by the dorm, could you grab my key?” Also I’m pretty sure all colleges have a lockout process

Parents, I need real opinions on this because I’m genuinely torn. Imagine your daughter is away at college, living in a shared dorm. One day she steps out of her room and accidentally leaves her key inside. It happens. She’s not being reckless, just human. While she’s out, her roommate comes back, drops her things off, and then leaves again… but locks the door behind her. Now your daughter is stuck outside, locked out of her own room, probably stressed, maybe embarrassed, trying to figure out what to do next. So here’s the question, who do you even get upset with in that situation? On one hand, your daughter forgot her key. That’s on her. It’s one of those small mistakes that turns into a big inconvenience, and part of growing up is learning to double-check things like that. But on the other hand, the roommate knew it was a shared space. Would it have hurt to at least check if…

@kokesque @_horrorfox @zerepwrestling Like at a minimum: restrooms, vacuum, strip and remake the bed, restock linens and towels, throw away trash. In 15 minutes? Times however many rooms per housekeeper?

@kokesque @_horrorfox @zerepwrestling No they aren’t? They have to fully clean the bathrooms, restock used products (if any), strip the bed, put on new sheets and make the bed, vacuum, dust the room, throw away any trash, restock linens and towels. Who in the hell can get all of that done in 15 minutes?

@TeamYouTube @SuperPop_9to5 @TeamYouTube like what am I supposed to do here? There is no way to dismiss the damn ad. I’m not using an ad blocker or a vpn. It’s been happening for weeks! Y’all are “buying” out your employees to replace them with AI and legitimately breaking the one service most people use.

@TeamYouTube @SuperPop_9to5 Before it happens again. You have made your app unusable and unstable. It’s ridiculous. And it happens at random. I’ll watch a couple of videos and it will be fine, then I try to watch another one, and boom, it happens again. It’s like you want people to stop using your service.

Podcast host Madame Joyce doubles down while responding to backlash for saying Klay Thompson is only known because of Megan Thee Stallion 👀 She then goes on to claim reality TV star NeNe Leakes is more popular than the top 10 current NBA players 💀🤦‍♂️

@nws4702 @MattLaneWrites @CertifTard5 What an embarrassing take. Who cares about the ‘high paying white collar job’? What’s the money for? Vacations? A new TV? Sad. Furthermore - why do you want the mother of your children to have a job at all? Step up and provide.

@mattshumer_ @iamjohnoliver At best, and downright evil at worst. The right thing to do, in every scenario, would be to immediately stop and direct the user to mental health resources. And this just points to the predatory nature of these bots: it’s about maintaining engagement at all costs.

@mattshumer_ @iamjohnoliver He doesn’t want the chatbots to break character when a user expresses they want to commit suicide because it would break the immersion. Sure the bot can respond telling them not to, if the character or bot thinks it’s the right thing to do, which is insane. That is negligent

People keep sending me this clip of @iamjohnoliver using my tweet as evidence that AI models don’t work well. Just to clear up any confusion, with respect, the tweet was a) taken way out of context and b) extremely outdated. The model in question (4o) is multiple generations old, and was shut down for being too sycophantic. Current models would not have behaved this way. It’s sort of like looking at a Nokia flip phone and saying “this isn’t useful”, when an iPhone exists. John, I’m a fan, and welcome any discussion here. Just want things to be accurate and not misleading!
