#FramerChallenge: Week 1 Diary 📝 Progress: $8,000 Goal: $20,000 Framer client work as a developer via @contra Notes: Going public with my revenue data isn't an easy choice. Money isn't everything. I could have easily opted out of this challenge. But after some thought, I realized that past me would have gained so much from seeing this kind of transparency. I’m joining one of the largest @Framer projects I’ve seen to date. For context, the biggest I've discovered is Typeform’s Miro (Big Site of the Year). The current project involves unifying 30 years of company history and fragmented digital infrastructure into a single Framer-centered ecosystem. We are set to go live at the end of June with roughly 50 pages and over 200 CMS items. As an official creator in the #FramerChallenge, I’ll be sharing my revenue over the next few months. I hope it helps other creators understand that Framer revenue goes far beyond what YouTubers and popular creators are telling you. Have a great week!

#FramerChallenge: Week 4 Diary 📝 Progress: $8,144.40 Goal: $20,000 I’m still fully focused on the project I’ve shared over the past few weeks, so the revenue remains steady. Notes: Looking at other submissions in this challenge has made me realize that service-based work looks very different from selling products. No exciting daily or weekly sales to report, just a lot of hours put into one Framer project. Project Update: We are officially moving into the development phase. This week and the week ahead, we’re setting up the CMS collections for the Support Hub. Dealing with multiple collections that need to work together for the long term is a cool technical challenge to solve in Framer. I’m currently setting up the logic between these collections, along with complex filtering and search functionality. We’ll test everything in a staging environment to ensure all dependencies are correct before we build out the complete page designs. It’s nice to finally be inside the Framer canvas and moving things forward. How is your week going?

@denibelx 100%. Most people don't realize the most challenging part of large framer projects is handling technical implementation and not the design. great work!

#FramerChallenge: Week 3 Diary 📝 Progress: $8,144.40 Goal: $20,000 Ending Week 3 with no new financial entries. But, with larger projects, the quiet weeks are actually where the most valuable work happens. Notes: This is the reality of high-end Framer service work. Revenue often arrives in milestones spread across weeks, and even months, rather than daily increments. Since my time is fully committed to one project, my income this week is measured in project progress. Showing the $0 weeks is just as important as showing the big ones. I believe it’s a transparent look at what it’s actually like to navigate a long-term, Framer contract. Project Update: Our team has successfully transitioned from content strategy into the wireframing phase. This week, we mapped out the core user journeys and are moving into the final stages of the site structure. With many of the key pages now wireframed, the skeleton of the ecosystem is nearly complete. Officially paving the way to begin development within Framer in May. Leading the technical implementation of a project of this magnitude is a significant task and a rewarding challenge for any Framer professional. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of a great team, and to help other creators learn along the way. How is your #FramerChallenge progress looking this week? [screenshot of our workflow, blurred on purpose, project will be posted after the official public release]

#FramerChallenge: Week 2 Diary 📝 Progress: $8,144.40 Goal: $20,000 Ending Week 2 with a few unexpected entries - a Framer invoice and a Framer/Dub affiliate commission. Notes: Due to the scale of my current project, I’ve paused other commitments. Even as a developer who doesn't sell digital products or maintain a heavy social presence, I’m still seeing residual commissions from previous work. I don't expect this to be the norm while I'm on this build, but it’s an interesting data point to track. Project Update: We are currently in the phase of content strategy. Our mission is to consolidate 30 years of history and a fragmented digital footprint into a unified Framer ecosystem. This past two weeks, we audited and organized approximately 500 URLs across 6 legacy sites to distill them into a single, cohesive narrative. While this level of information architecture takes time, it is the most critical step before jumping into design. UX strategy is often overlooked in smaller builds, but for this level of migration, it’s the foundation of the entire project’s success. How is your #FramerChallenge progress looking this week?

🧵 I made $8k selling Framer templates this month. No ads. No agency. Just templates on pentaclay.com and posting on X. Here's the full breakdown — what worked, what flopped, and what I'm doubling down on: (bookmark for later)

@uxkosta Reminds me of their constant moaning about the price of Apple products, while over here a junior needs to give up 2-3 salaries for a MacBook

Be willing to understand that you might be at the very first steps of a large stairway. Do not go into it with "I deserve this or that". Stay humble. Find out where you can deliver value from your current position, do it consistently over time, improve your craft, communicate frequently, with clarity and transparency. Good people and clients value this at any stage of your professional development.

@denibelx @contra Super impressed by this 👏 I’m really curious, where do you usually get your clients from? I’ve been actively applying to Contra listings and consistently sharing my work publicly, but haven’t seen great results yet. Would love to hear any tips or things that worked for you.

I’m excited to quietly announce that I’m participating in Season 2 of the @framer challenge with a revenue goal of $50k. last season I failed committing to a $5k goal. Will I make it this time? 👀 here's what I stand for: over the next two months, I’ll be building in public stay tuned for updates :) #FramerChallenge
