@sergeynazarovx @ScreenCharm so anybody knowing a customer’s mail could get the code?
English

🔑 I got tired of answering users who had lost their license keys for @ScreenCharm.
So I shipped a license manager where you can retrieve your license key using the email address you used to purchase the app.
English

@sergeynazarovx @pasha_barbashin @ScreenCharm Hahaha great thanks for letting everyone know! Please enable verification for the sake of every customer
English

@pasha_barbashin @ScreenCharm Nope, it does not verify e-mail owner, but the request has rate limit
English

you killed the design here!
couple nitpicks:
new piece is a create action, import is an upload action, and audio --> midi i assume takes you to a dedicated page. these all use the same button style. the user needs the website to tell them what to do first. if all elements on the page look the same, then they wont know where to click first.
as for the filters above the gallery, remove the inner padding around the active 'composer' tab, it will feel a lot more like it belongs there. same for the grid vs list layout selector.
then there are 2 different card styles for continue and bortkiewicz's recordings, whats the significance of that? did you want to separate them for a reason?
in terms of what content is displaying on the charts, i think that's perfect. maybe try moving the duration of the track to the end of that row, or up in the title row at the end so it stands out more. thats a more important thing to see when viewing these - how long is the track? the user will ask themselves.
the composers list in the sidebar is good, the rest of the items in the sidebar are also good.

@EddyVinckk what an introduction😭 congrats eddy wishing yall the best

i'm creating designcult.us
because the best designers i know
are all in different cities,
and we deserve one room.
come in.

@rowans_planet @uxmateja Yeah that’s what I meant. I want a browser that’s actively being worked on
English

@denizdoingstuff @uxmateja untrue, it just gets security updates only, no feature updates
English

Noticed it's hard to keep up when every conversation is split up into different tasks. Noticed this with my recent client.
So I did better:
every client is now on Slack (or E-Mail) for simple conversations and updates
It's way easier to keep up with a simple Slack Channel, task updates from Linear get automatically sent into it
deniz@denizdoingstuff
Every client I work with gets this. A live board showing exactly where your project stands, what's in progress, what's up for review, what's shipped. No "any updates?" emails. No black box. But clarity.
English

@denizdoingstuff with all the resets (maybe also in general) limits are probably higher
for me the most important thing is that gpt models arent as slow as fable/opus which makes it way more usable imo
English

@miaugladiator1 yeah the sol release is making me think of switching when my Claude runs out. I think chatgpt pro also has higher limits than Claude pro right
English

@denizdoingstuff coding gap imo is closed, would still prefer fable for planning but fable usage is probably close to 0 on the 20$ tier haha
also basically all my work is done with a gpt model rn (mainly sol since release)
