The Ebella is the @Maruti_Corp e Vitara. Same 49kWh and 61kWh batteries. Same platform. Same factory. Same range. Toyota's "differentiation": → Prius-inspired headlights → Different upholstery colours → A Toyota badge That's it. That's the EV strategy.

The @ToyotaMotorCorp Urban Cruiser #Ebella launches April 15. ₹18–21 lakh. Expected. And it proves a point I've been making for months: Toyota doesn't believe in EVs. It just believes in not losing market share. 🧵

@sumanthredddy I have booked E-Vitara. I have BE6 currently and got tired of hardware and software issues. Semi-active suspension malfunctioning even now. E-Vitara after the test drive felt like a good package with better suspension for city and Indian road conditions.

@dino5890 I will say pick Curvv.EV reasons 1. It has more space 2. Better efficiency 2. Tata is more a known beast

Will it be a family car or single driven? If single driven, Punch is good enough for your use case. Will be easier to manoeuvre in traffic as well. For family, Nexon 45 has enough space and very good driving dynamics. But you'll not get a feature loaded nexon in this budget. Provided you have a home charging facility, these 2 are very good options depending on your needs.

Sir, my household load is also 6 kWh. I use a 7.2 kW charger derated to 3.3 kW. You have two options 1. Increase the load to 10kWh. You will have to pay additional security charges to the discom and a minor increase in fixed charges. or 2. Get a 7.2 kW charger and derate it to 3.3 kW. Your car will take 14 hrs to charge from 0-100% which can be done overnight.

For 70-80 km running, I will recommend the Nexon EV 45. Tata has already upgraded the motor and battery for this car. Not being on Activ.EV platform doesn't impact it as much. Advantages - 1. LTW 2. Fast charging speed 3. Easy 350+ km range in the city 4. 300-350 km range on highways eVitara launch is around the corner, but I don't expect it to be lower than 17-18L for the base 49 kWh model.
