@Maruti_Corp @mahindraesuvs @ToyotaMotorCorp has been the world's #1 automaker. They invented hybrid technology. They have the resources to build a real EV for India. Instead they chose the easy route. If the world's most capable carmaker won't invest in a real EV for India — what message does that send.

@Maruti_Corp Compare this to @mahindraesuvs's approach: Ground-up INGLO platform. Born-electric from day one. Designed specifically for EVs. No legacy petrol architecture underneath. Mahindra took a decade of risk to build something genuinely new. Toyota re-badged someone else's work.

@ALIndiaOfficial I'm not criticising @ALIndiaOfficial. Assembly is a real step. Local jobs. Local supply chain. Real value. But let's be honest about what "domestic battery manufacturing" actually means today. India needs to manufacture the CELLS.
