I talk a lot about those fun little "Draft Rivalries" that come out of each Draft that I'm excited to see who ends up the better pick. Usually players at the same position that either go within a few picks of each other or to Rival Teams. This year's best: Chiefs take R Mason Thomas the pick before the Bengals take Cashius Howell. Two undersized, twitchy DPR type players to AFC Rivals/Contenders. Personally... I think the Bengals got the better guy with the later pick.

So we'll get to Draft Grades, favorite classes, etc, all very much in depth but I just want to shout out 3 of my standout/favorite things from the Draft. #1) Avieon Terrell to Atlanta gets me so hyped. Exactly what that secondary needed and the Bros together in front of those Safeties is ELECTRIC #2) The Dolphins pairing Jacob Rodriguez and Kyle Louis on a Jeff Hafley defense with Jordyn Brooks gives me chills. And then Kevin Coleman Jr. in a chance to be their WR1 right away is gold (DRAFT HIM I FANTASY, THANK ME LATER!) #3) The Vikings just giving Flores a bunch of super unique chess pieces to cook with in Banks, Big Citrus, and Golday is something I'm so excited to geek out about.

@TFG_Football Watched the vid. Really liked what you said about Proctor. I hope you’re right about the upside there. Still would’ve preferred Iheanachor, but I’m not nearly as distraught. I’m right with you on Johnson. Definitely the “safest” pick at corner for this scheme

@BrettKollmann This is exactly why I push back on Corner at 11 for Miami. Gotta improve the pass rush before we can even think about using premium assets on CB

Workshopping a new take that corners are basically the running backs of defense. In a vacuum, sure it's awesome to have an elite guy. But so much of their success is so dependent on what the other 10 guys are doing that I see them more as finishing pieces than the foundation.

@TFG_Football Over recent years, I’ve really come to value interior o-line and d-line just as much as the guys on the edge. Interior pressure and lack of push up the middle for runs is the quickest way to fail on offense

Counterpoint: A bad Guard will lose you the game way faster than a bad RB, LB, or Safety will. And it's MUCH harder & MUCH more expensive to find an adequate Guard than it is an adequate RB, LB, or Safety.
