@kaushikrj6 You're missing the point. He's setting the direction for Indian cinema, and hopefully we'll see the end of YRF and Dharma Productions. India's film industry doesn't have the same budget and market as Hollywood so it's unfair to compare the two.

It's laughable how Dhurandhar fans think Aditya Dhar is some genius who has made his name in the international cinema circuit with Dhurandhar and its sequel. Shows how little they know about cinema. Nobody can deny this fact that Dhurandhar 2 will be the highest grosser film in Hindi cinema. But that doesn't mean Aditya Dhar will be someone who will inspire filmmakers across countries. Martin Scorcese, Christopher Nolan, Wes Anderson have all admitted to be influenced by Satyajit Ray's cinema. A chase scene in Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday inspired Danny Boyle to include a similar chase sequence in Slumdog Millionaire. This is what influence means when your work inspires filmmakers across countries. To even imagine that Aditya Dhar's work would even enter these circuits is laughable. No matter how much crores you earn.

The Sikh religion actually preaches strict vegetarianism. Go to any langar and the food is always strictly vegetarian. In fact, Punjab is among the top three states in India with the highest percentage of vegetarians (67%). It is third after Rajasthan (75%) and Haryana (70%), and has a higher fraction of vegetarians than even Gujarat (61%).

@deolamit @peeleraja Amit, I suggest you learn what halal means so you don’t keep embarrassing yourself. The restaurant owner is a very bad Sikh if he’s purposely trying to keep Muslims out of his restaurant even though they can eat some dishes. Jhatka is also not even universal between all Sikhs.

@ratan_kata @SharkFcb @peeleraja @grok please explain: Non‑halal ≠ vegetarian. Even a bit of vinegar or other haram ingredients makes food non‑halal. That Sikh owner just means his place uses jhatka meat and may use things like vinegar or pork, so it isn’t halal.

Ethnicity is a qualification for senior office in almost all countries in the world. The reason it is not understood is that most countries have very few foreigners as citizens. China has 16,000 foreigners as citizens out of 1.4 billion . Britain has around 25 million people eligible for dual nationality who could theoretical stand for high office in two countries .
