Anduril no longer needs to raise another round of funding. I will pay for Arsenal 2 by reselling the the RAM that came in my @FrameworkPuter Desktop a few months ago. Sorry, venture capitalists.

forward deployed engineer is the hottest job title of 2026 and i'm not surprised for those who don't know, it's basically an engineer who works closely with the customer the engineer wil do things like - join the customer calls - go on the customer's company offsites and vacations - eat the customer's food - adopt the customer's children - marry the customer's spouses - shoulder the crushing burden of the customer's deepest, darkest secrets - chat with the customer if there are any problems pretty cool stuff!

Why NYC is so successful: 1. It’s an awful experience to move apartments in NYC (would rather get waterboarded) 2. Every year your rent goes up (by a lot) 3. Your left with no choice but to make more money to afford the same apartment Repeat for a decade and both you and your landlord are rich

since moving to SF this year, i keep running into this specific type of person whom i try to avoid whenever i can. the transactional type. you meet them and you can feel them instantly calculating where you sit in whatever hierarchy they track and what they can get from you. these people are exhausting to encounter because they're trying to extract, not build. they don't understand social capital or how to use it correctly and they aren't even aware of what they're doing. I love SF but it’s unfortunately crawling with these people. the longer i live here, the more i find myself staying away from big parties that are swarming with these transactional types and enjoying smaller gatherings, little pockets where i can just be with my friends who just want to laugh with me and work on cool stuff. i’m v grateful for all the amazing friends i’ve made here this year, the ones who are genuine and make living in SF actually feel amazing.

@rekdt @elianoayounes Palantir doesn’t even store data. The whole selling point of the platform is security and governance as a service for enterprise data.

@aviralbhat Actually those are all legitimate motivations. I started Viaweb very explicitly to make money, and that worked out well enough.

Do not start a company if you're primarily driven by: - Making money - Getting famous - Doing better than others - Calling yourself CEO/founder Only do it if you're crazy enough to do whatever it takes to solve a problem you deeply care about

I love how Palmer lucky just showed up to Joe Rogan and talked about exactly what he wanted Peter Thiel fell into the trap of being polite to Joe and ended up sitting through a 45 minute explanation of why the Pyramids were actually a power plant

Got flooded with “go back to your country” and “America doesn’t need you” on my H-1B tweet. America is 4.1% of the world. Even if Americans were 10X more likely to be geniuses, 70% would still be born elsewhere. Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, and Sergey Brin weren’t born American.
