We launched our webapp 2 days ago, and close to 300 people have already uploaded their blood reports and gotten a snapshot of their health. So let me ask you something. When was the last time you actually read your blood report? It's full of jargon most of us don't understand, and the numbers that actually matter are buried in there where nobody is reading them. When you upload it to Depth, in seconds you get a beautiful snapshot of what's good, what's off, and what to do about it. It's the same report you already have, except now you understand it. And blood is just the start, because when you connect your wearables, Depth puts the pieces together. Your sleep, your workouts, and your blood all talk to each other. We're not giving you more data, we're giving you answers about your body.

Our app got rejected from the App Store this week. The app we spent so much of our time on. Every screen built with love, thinking of every single user. Rejected in a second. But here's the thing. A review team doesn't get to decide our launch date. Today, Depth goes live for everyone. On the web. The first thousand people who believed in us early already have their snapshots. From today, it's open for everyone. Upload your blood report and get a beautiful snapshot of your entire health, one snapshot: what's good, what's off, what to do about it. And blood is just the start. Connect your wearables, and Depth starts putting the pieces together. Your sleep, your workouts, your blood, all in one place, actually talking to each other. You are 27. Your biological age might be 37. Most people have never thought about this. Your chronological age, the number on your ID, tells you almost nothing about how your body is actually ageing. Two people at 35 can have cardiovascular systems 15 years apart. One of them is ageing at 28. The other at 43. Same birthday. Completely different biology. The reason? Blood. CGM. Wearables. The data is all there, it's just never been read together. Your ApoB tells you what your cholesterol is actually doing to your arteries. Your fasting insulin tells you how your metabolism is holding up. Your HRV tells you how much stress your body is absorbing. Your glucose patterns tell you what food is doing to you in real time. None of these things alone tell you your biological age. But together? They tell you everything. This is what we're building at Depth, an AI that reads your bloodwork, your CGM, your ring, your watch, and synthesises it into one number that actually matters: how old your body really is, and whether that number is going up or down. VO2 max is the strongest predictor of how long you'll live. Stronger than smoking status. Stronger than blood pressure. Stronger than cholesterol. JAMA, 2022. 750,000 patients. Moving from low to above-average VO2 max cut all-cause mortality risk by 45%. No drug has ever done that. Here's what makes it strange: VO2 max measures how efficiently your body delivers and uses oxygen at maximum effort. It sounds like an athletic metric. It isn't. It's a cardiovascular efficiency score. And cardiovascular efficiency turns out to predict almost everything. Heart disease, cancer survival, dementia onset, metabolic health. The reason is structural. A high VO2 max means your heart pumps more blood per beat, your mitochondria extract more energy per molecule of oxygen, and your cells handle stress better across the board. Fitness is the mechanism. Longevity is the outcome. The cut-offs matter: Low to Moderate: mortality risk drops 30% Moderate to High: another 20% The biggest gains come from the bottom. You don't need to be elite. You need to not be sedentary. Almost nobody in India measures this. Most annual checkups don't include it. Most wearables approximate it badly.

I wore a CGM for 2 weeks. Here's what 14 days of glucose data taught me that no doctor ever did. What is a CGM? Continuous glucose monitor. A small sensor you stick on your upper arm. It reads your blood glucose every 5 minutes for 2 weeks and sends the data to your phone. Cost in India: roughly Rs 4000 for a 14-day sensor (Freestyle Libre). White rice: 150 mg/dL spike in 30 minutes. Brown rice: 112 mg/dL Same portion. 38 points from swapping one ingredient. I've been told for years that brown rice is "healthier." I assumed it was a vague wellness claim. Turns out it's just slower glucose. The fibre in the bran slows digestion. What surprised me more: the walk data. Same white rice, 20-min walk after, peak dropped to 128. Lower than the brown rice sitting still. So the food matters. The behaviour around it matters more. Overall I'm more aware now on what I put inside my body for fuel, and how good and sustainable it is for my metabolic health.

Every maker lives with the same blindness: you never get to see the thing you made. Only the marble, the seams, the unfinished cuts, the place the chisel slipped. The statue stays invisible, because you can’t stop remembering it as stone. Then, once in a long while, the remembering lets go. The marble forgets it was marble. For one second you see it the way a stranger would, not the work, the thing itself, and it catches you off guard, because you built it cut by cut and were never meant to be moved by it. That happened with Depth today. For a second it wasn’t mine. And I wanted it.
