@ChippedInUK I can only speak from experience and Dunston is definitely a friendly club. People went out of their way to make me feel welcome. It may be a resort course but I have never had any problems finding tee times and am captain of a very active and welcoming seniors section.

@golfshake @derekclem1 My Dad was Captain of his club few years back. He was at the club for over 350 days that year. He tried to meet all the teams playing the club and most of the societies or vistors. As well as all the organising that is needed.
