We have reached the point in Kentucky’s offseason where a massive overpay to try and lure Milan Momcilovic or Tounde Yessoufou out of the NBA Draft is the only thing that can vault UK into contention status next season.

Kentucky’s problem isn’t that Mark Pope missed a big guy with bad feet in the portal. It’s that Michigan is reloading, UConn, Florida and Illinois are all bringing back studs, Duke is stacked … And you’re Kentucky, but no longer Kentucky.

Capilouto: The new AD will have to know what the school and UK Athletics means to this state and its people.

University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto on WLXG's Wildcat Drive program this afternoon, talking about the AD position and whether he thinks it will be somebody from within or the outside... The "Listening tour" has been quite informative so far. I would imagine that, with a position like this, that we look nationally. That doesn't mean you exclude folks who are local, though.

@KySportsRadio The corruption at the university deserves a serious investigation. This is a public institution with public tax money intertwined in the spending. Some transparency is warranted. Mitch and Eli robbing the state and the fans.
