@Andy_Villamarzo New age of college football absolutely sucks. NIL and the transfer portal have ruined the game. Straight up. Any talk to the contrary is simply coming from compromised parties.

Pretty incredible that a team could play in a conference championship game and the HC has a job lined up and the school had its own candidate prepared all under 24 hours after said contest. New age of college football.

@KyleNunez55 It’s already been ridiculous. Transfer portal and NIL have ruined college football. It’s bad. Almost as bad as all these new businesses out there allegedly promoting kids only to make money off of the kids. Some have good in their hearts but not all.

@DanLaForestFB Transfer portal and NIL have ruined the game. This flipping crap is terrible. The whole recruiting game has changed with kids essentially being put in situations where they make commitments that they never intend to keep.

@DanLaForestFB @CoachReedLive I read that the kid was promised 100k from an assistant coach and the head coach said it wasn't valid because it didn't come from him- the head coach. Not sure if that is true or not but certainly possible in my humble opinion. This whole NIL thing is a total mess.

There is the rest of the story. Thanks for the clarification @CoachReedLive. It still doesn't take away that these matters can be agreed upon during the recruiting process to ensure there are no misunderstandings. It's not all about money.

Somehow people are surprised by this.

Kid is a baller. Played both offense and defense on Friday night. Always makes an impact at C / OG and made a huge difference on defense this week while not really focusing on defense in practice ever. 6 ft 4 310 pounds moving very well. 1 FBS offer and another PWO from the SEC. The system is completely and totally flawed. In so many ways. One thing I have never in my life understood not specific to this kid but in the camp set ups for offensive lineman. Every camp I have been to the defensive player knows the exact snap count of when the play begins. This along with no pads and no helmet puts the defensive player in a such an advantageous position it is totally and completely skewed from the beginning.

THIS IS MY PROBLEM WITH THE INSTATE PROGRAMS; FOR YEARS THIS YOUNG MAN HAS RIPPED EVERY SINGLE COLLEGE CAMP AND ELITE EVALUATION CAMP TO SHREDS; AND NOT ONE OFFER. HE HAS DOMINATED THE 4&5 STAR GUYS YALL RECRUIT‼️HE IS A 4.0 PLUS STUDENT‼️ I HAVEN’T SEEN A BETTER CENTER‼️CHALLENGE‼️GET YOUR TOP DL RECRUIT TO CAMP AND I GUARANTEE YOU; @markus_hopson WILL WIN EVERY REP‼️
