I do wish they would have tortured Homelander a lil bit more before offing him. He got off too easy imo #TheBoys
They were forced on her as a child. She resented them to the point of regularly lobotomizing herself to dull out the endless noise/racing thoughts, just to have a little peace. Her powers were literally driving her mad and she wasn't even allowed to use them constructively.
why did sage seem so happy after losing her powers?

I’m convinced I watched something else because that finale was a 9/10 at the minimum.

I don't care what anyone says. This was out of character for Homelander, even for someone as insecure as him. It would've made much more sense for him to fall into a fit of rage, like Anakin at the end of RotS. Not a baby offering to eat poop. I will die on this hill.
The finale revealed to me that a lot of people are Homelanders with a hard ER
