Oh shit oh no oh fuck my husband and I just did the dumbest thing 🤠 so for our flight to America on Monday, the airline offers this ✨bidding✨ option where you can basically make an offer to upgrade to business class. So like a guaranteed upgrade costs 1500chf (swiss francs, like 1900usd lmao) but the bidding starts at 632chf. Per person lol We are generally extremely frugal with our money so we've never ever even considered this as an option 😅 but since we're both 30 this year and it's our 10 year anniversary, we have been feeling really funny silly goofy and wanting to do funny silly goofy things for ourselves. So we bid 702chf pp, thinking there's no way we'll actually get it because it's such a low bid. 20 mins later the airline accepted it LMAOOOO. The question is truly are you filling or will you be filled, regardless of the tool you use to get there. But yes you can only be filled with a limit order for less than mkt price
