@LFC The joy this guy has brought me is intangible. Since the day he arrived he’s entertained me and given me memories I’ll never forget, singing his name whilst standing on the steps at the top of the KOP. The Egyptian King 🇪🇬 👑 Liverpool Legend seems too small of a title.

Mohamed Salah is to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career with Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2025-26 season. The time to fully celebrate his legacy and achievements will follow later in the year when he bids farewell to Anfield ❤️

Step 1 in deescalation must be restraining the Israelis, otherwise all efforts to negotiate will follow this pattern: POTUS publicly announces deescalation. Israel takes major strikes to destroy the negotiations & in turn weaken our ability to negotiate. The war accelerates.

I’m seeing a lot of posts saying Iran has “2 catastrophic options” and we’re 48 hours from disaster. I don’t buy it. There’s no confirmed ultimatum from Donald Trump. No locked-in “final terms.” No point where either side can’t step back. We have seen this before: - Loud threats in public. - Quiet talks behind the scenes. The idea that there are “only 2 options” I believe is just wrong. There are always more: • Delays • Backchannels • Partial deals • Controlled escalation Even after Qasem Soleimani was killed, the U.S. and Iran didn’t go to full war. Could things escalate? Absolutely. But realistically it looks like: • Proxy clashes • Limited strikes • Economic pressure Not instant global collapse. Closing the Strait of Hormuz would hit Iran hard too. I hope it’s a threat—not a first move. My take: Tensions are real. But this “no way out” narrative doesn’t make sense for either side. I’m hoping and believing that this is the off ramp to negotiations 🤞🏻 What do you think will happen? Let me know your thoughts 💭

“Open up or we attack anyway.” That’s not strength. That’s chaos pretending to be policy. We now have it from both British and Omani delegates that the talks were going well, the Iranians were agreeing to the demands and the US attacked them because Isreal were going to anyway 🤦‍♂️

Another faceless racist! Did you read the post? I mentioned three different demographics and you focus on the black one. My nan raised me and my cousin who was mixed heritage, are you telling me he’s any different? Focus on the part of my post where I talk about having each other’s backs, this is regardless to heritage. X is full of weak men that comment without a face. Madness

Spent years running anti-piracy ops in the Indian Ocean — the Strait of Hormuz was just another transit point back then. You could see Iran, pick up signals… but never imagined it would become this strategically volatile. Piracy near Bab al-Mandab showed me how fragile these chokepoints are. Now think about it: - 20% of the world’s energy flows through Hormuz - 12% of global trade passes Bab al-Mandab With Yemen and Oman sitting between them, disruption in both would hit fast and hard. Iran backs the Houthis in Yemen. If escalation continues, targeting that second phase route denial. The only other option is to re-route the vessels around the continent of Africa. 18+ more days for goods to arrive, the impact on costs to goods will be huge. My main concern though is the impact on the Egyptian economy. This war needs to stop ASAP. The only beneficiary of this conflict is Isreal.

Going to war with a country, then immediately lifting sanctions on its oil to prevent your own economic collapse, is the definition of strategic failure.

I think we should have strong boarders and a robust immigration system but this idiot is talking about neither, he’s judging people on the colour of skin and he’s weak. If you didn’t hide behind a mask, we could have a debate and you’d know what my thoughts are instead of telling me what I think. Madness, give your head the wobble.

With no clear win, where does Trump go next? My opinion: He’s been lied to by the Zionists in his administration. Told this will be easy and a similar operation to the 12 day war of June 2025, lorded to be some kind of saviour to feed his out of control ego. That’s not the case…. It appears he’s looking for an off ramp, but will Israel keep attacking to the point of no return, if such point has not already been reached. War is much easier to prevent than it is to stop. The economic destruction will be felt in all corners of this world, and for what, no one of a sound mind wants this to continue.

No vessels have yet been escorted through the Strait of Hormuz by the US Navy. Yesterday’s drop in fuel prices from $110 back to $82 could prove short-lived. If disruption in the Strait continues, small businesses and households will feel it first at the pumps. Saudi Arabia has already re-routed its exports to the Red Sea port of Jeddah, but other Gulf states remain heavily dependent on Hormuz. There are also reports of Iran deploying sea mines targeting fuel tankers and cargo ships. If confirmed, this could have a major impact on global energy supply and shipping.
