Everyone except middle and lower class American taxpayers are being represented by our government of grift - corporations, foreigners and foreign interests, donors, special interest groups, and self interests. There is no more government by the people and for the people. Corporations are betraying American workers and our country by offshoring and using illegal visa scams to build modern day illegal, slave labor pipelines to cut costs and continue to increase their stock price that only benefits a small percentage of Americans. Using the stock market as a measure of success is another grift tactic that benefits few and harms most Americans. Many American workers have been laid off and unemployed for years so they dropped off the unemployment rate and more than 1.1 million Americans were laid off this year alone. The total number of unemployed and underemployed Americans is likely much higher as our government is gaming the unemployment and job creation numbers. American college graduates (even those in STEM) cannot find work either as corporations only want illegal, cheap foreign labor and no one is lifting a finger to stop it. Many of these students took on loans to pay for education that is no longer valued by corporate interests and they are defaulting on the loans due to a corrupt system. The system is rigged against the American workers who pay into it. Prices keep increasing for auto, health, and home insurance and utilities. Many health insurance plans are burdensome high deductible plans and people are stuck paying sky high cash prices for medications and services until they meet their deductible. Water and electricity prices are surging as tech bros build hundreds of data centers across the country to support their AI grift while stealing precious resources from communities they provide no benefit to - data centers do not create jobs in the communities they pillage. At $50K, new vehicles are out of reach for most Americans. Housing and rental prices are off the charts. Wages are stagnant and many are underemployed after being laid off and accepting less pay just to have a job. The American Dream is rapidly dying as corruption, fraud, and crime become more widespread. People are now in survival mode and ready to flip tables or burn the whole thing down.
