anti-Leninism in academic marxism is itself the most rote, unexamined position going. strip Lenin from Marx and you lose the theory of imperialism, the state, self-determination, and organization. congrats on enlightened detachment from all that!

@StevenWallaby @TheDougFiles Ohh that's a good point. I agree with the read that the cat is an omen linked with Adriana (among others), but I had never considered it as an avenging reincarnation of Cosette. Only half-kidding, it kinda works—dogs are blindly loyal, cats don't put up with that shit.
