There’s been a lot of good games and building on Ronin, but some have gone other places or had their TGEs on other blockchain so something is off when such event take place…

Even today, the design philosophy of Dark Forest remains far ahead of its time. From 2021 to 2022, @DFArchon as an active player community, we enjoyed a truly wonderful period. In early 2023, we gathered the development talent within the Dark Forest community and chose to continue maintaining and iterating on the project, moving towards a grander onchain reality universe. We typically work in 3–4 month development cycles, designing and developing new features while exploring different directions. After each cycle, we hold a public test lasting 2–3 weeks to validate our ideas and collect feedback from community members. In the summer of 2024, we made a major decision: we migrated Dark Forest's architecture from the Diamond Standard (ERC2535) to the @mud_dev engine, restructuring all underlying code except for the presentation layer. As of October 2025, we are running the latest round of public testing for @darkforest_punk (🦑,🪐) ✨r1.dfpunk.xyz✨ Everyone is welcome to join!
