Nothing will grow your X account more than replies. I started growing my account when I had around 100 followers. Today I'm at 4.2K, and it took me about 3 months. Most of that growth didn't come from my posts. It came from replying to people, joining conversations, and genuinely engaging with others. For the past few weeks, I've barely been doing that because most of my time now goes into my job. I usually schedule my tweets on the weekend, but I don't spend much time engaging anymore. The difference is noticeable. My growth has slowed down quite a bit. So if you're trying to grow your account, make engagement your first priority, not posting. Good posts definitely help, but most posts won't magically get you discovered. People do.
