PSA for the junior officers out there. Don’t do this. Never fawn over your boss — Senior leaders don’t need you to build up their public image. They need you to do your job. This goes for your rater and senior rater too. Don’t get it confused, every interaction with them is an evaluation — treat it as such. Own your part of the organization by knowing your unit status: personnel, equipment, training…and challenges. This is the professional discussion leaders need to assess the organization and how they can help you. This level of obsequiousness is how you put yourself in a position where your peers don’t trust you and your superiors begin to think your reports are crafted for self-promotion.

Targeted raises are well overdue in my opinion. If we continue to have the same raise across the board, we are just increasing the pay gap between enlisted and officer ranks. Interested to see what “lower enlisted” is here. E-1 to E-4? E-1 to E-6?

Rhule thinks money will fix everything. History has shown at other places money doesn't mean winning. I will gaurantee if you win money won't be a problem and getting elite players to come here won't be a problem. Rhule has to prove he is a good hc and can win consistently. People are tired of dishing out money with no results.
