Been watching a lot of Cheers reruns lately. I’ll never understand how they decided to have a spinoff named Frazier and not Norm #everybodyknowsyourname
@WallStreetApes When I bought my house in 2015 the washer and dryer were identical to the ones my parents bought when they got married in '82. First line in the purchases agreement. "The washer and dryer stay"
Americans have realized older appliances last forever, and even often times work better, than new ones
This man shows his “1956 Frigidaire washer, I wanna show you guys how quickly it'll empty this tub and get up to 1100 RPMs of spin speed. Watch this”
Appliances before planned obsolescence were infinitely better. Now everything is planned to break so you have to keep buying it every few years
Anyone with experience growing sorghum Sudan grass, how many cuttings should I expect to get? I’ve got 16ac of a smaller field that I’d like to plant to it for hay. We’ve added cows last couple of years and would like to have this to feed. #cows#beef#agtwitter
@jasonc_nc Seems to me they've just copied Sam Walton's plan of building stores in small towns. WalMart already killed off the Mom and Pop stores. DG is just whittling away at WalMart's business.
Dollar General discourse is funny to me because anyone who actually lives near one is like “man I’m glad I don’t have to drive 25 minutes if I forget a couple basic things” whereas the person who doesn’t even live there is like “this is a pox upon rural Americans”.
