@Variety I hate select quotes like this from articles because people won’t read the context and the source material. Robin was notorious across many sets for trying to make people laugh. Sally didn’t want to break character. She was mentally saying he wasn’t funny. She loved Robin.
Sally Field says she thought Robin Williams "wasn't funny" while filming "Mrs. Doubtfire":
“Robin was always trying something different to make me laugh. It was so unfunny. I can't begin to tell you. And then Pierce, wonderful Pierce Brosnan, we were sitting at a table at the restaurant, and he made a fart noise on his arm. And I was gone. That was it.”

@Sksj002 It’s so annoying when people on the internet comment on Wanda and this topic, they say “her story was done”. It isn’t and doesn’t have to be. Not many folks want Hugh Jackman to rest as Wolverine. scarlet witch is just as loved and popular. I think this post is spot on
Marvel’s biggest fumble was not capitalizing on Scarlet Witch right after her popularity exploded.
4 years since Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Wanda was arguably the MCU’s most talked about character after WandaVision. Audiences literally cheered when she first appeared in the garden scene.
The movie made nearly a billion dollars, the character was massively popular, and Elizabeth Olsen became one of Marvel’s best casting choices ever.
And then nothing.
4 years without a single appearance and not even officially announced for Doomsday. Feels like Marvel completely wasted the momentum.
@_whatsinaname7 Two things can be true: People who are used to the DNA of a show like ‘The Boys’ are not expecting the ride towards the end to be calm. It needs to be thrilling. Also true: character development and exploration is important for viewers and the integrity of a show and storyline.
It’s annoying how some #TheBoys viewers keep complaining. Epi 4 & 5 took deep dive into back stories. A show is made by its characters, their thoughts, motives, emotions. How can anyone relate to a show without knowing THEM deeply. I was seeing complains of lack of Black Noir, Sage & Firecracker till last week. The current epi gave them the stage. And you guys still complain? Then it also took the story ahead by showing Sage’s plans, Soldier Boy & Homelander’s relation taking a new shade, both of them finding the exact spot the V1 is. And it was entertaining. The main motive is to kill Homelander, if that happens now what will we watch the rest of the episodes for?
@verbalriotshow Even if this is just rage-baiting, to have this take is so weird. Maybe the writing/acting is an issue but she’s seeking revenge. Plenty of male characters do way more awful things. I liked his character (eventually) but he was working for the devil. No smoke for that, huh?
So he died to protect the chick who was literally using him and betraying his trust since the show started.
They wrote this guy to be the ultimate simp. #Daredevil
@Uber_Support Uber is hanging up on a rider who had a serious safety issue and their support team over the phone hung up. Might have to take this further. Wow!
@DCMultiverses How is Matt reeeves a part of this but it’s not in The Batman universe. People are still in the shared universe mindset and this is so confusing to many I’ve talked to. I personally guess I get it but others don’t
@CultureCrave Why not exclude Penguin because “we don’t want to take away from the story of Batman”? lol. I hate when studios say stuff like that as an excuse to not put Batman in the penguin series. Just say Batman is a huge IP and contractually it’s complicated to include him. Rant over lol
@WORLDSTAR No teacher should put their hands on a child in vicious manner. Also: No child should be disrespecting someone in a position of educational authority. May the next teenager see this as caution because you never know who you’re disrespecting! Always be respectful, teacher and teen
A 56-year-old teacher in Arkansas, Tracy Matthews, has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after a classroom incident was caught on camera.
It all started when a student said, "Bruh, I don’t have a computer."
Matthews replied, "I’m not your bruh, I’m your sir."
The student then sealed his fate by saying, "My bad, lil bruh."
According to the police report, that's when Matthews snapped. He allegedly grabbed the student, pushed him against a desk, followed him out of the room, and then choked him against a wall until it was hard for him to breathe.

It’s officially the end of an era as Tim Cook steps down as CEO of Apple. The man who took the reins from Steve Jobs hands them to John Ternus, current senior vice president of Hardware Engineering. Ternus will take over as CEO effective September 1st, 2026. Cook however, will remain involved as Chairman of Apple’s board of directors. Apple keynotes will never be the same…
What do you think about this leadership change? Do you think this was the right move for Apple?

MICHAEL presents an overly audience-friendly take on Michael Jackson’s life story (only up until the release of “Bad”) that will work for the masses and devoted fans eager to watch one of the world’s largest entertainers at the peak of his popularity “play the hits” and find the courage to stand up to his abusive father (portrayed with simmering tension in every scene by Colman Domingo) on the big screen. However, the direction by Antoine Fuqua is as straightforward as it gets for music biopics, playing things so safely that it offers nothing revelatory or even remotely compelling, unless that deeper exploration is being reserved for the supposed second film(?). Jaafar Jackson is undeniably impressive though, capturing his uncle’s mannerisms, stage presence, and vulnerability in a genuine breakout performance. And shoutout to Juliano Krue Valdi who excels as young Michael with only a fraction of the screen time. Ultimately, you’ve seen this film many, many times before.
@appleinsider Apple is reportedly working hard to make sure Jon can’t hide behind that protection. Not sure but things don’t seem to be looking good for prosser
Journalists are protected when they report trade secrets, with caveats, and leaker Jon Prosser hopes that this protection will be enough to have the lawsuit that Apple filed dismissed.
