Book of Boba Fett - my Season 2 outline: (Fan Fiction) My original reply disappeared for whatever reason so I'm reposting it here. I would love to collaborate with Disney if they were game. This would be a dream to write for. The mistake with Book of Boba Fett was that it kept trying to make Boba respectable. Wrong move. Boba Fett should not become a neighborhood mayor with a scooter gang. He should become the terrifying anti-king of the underworld who slowly discovers he has a code. And Fennec? She should not be “cool sidekick assassin lady.” She should be the blade in the room everyone pretends not to notice until their throat is already metaphorically open. Many realize that they should have been dead, but were spared... by her choice. Here’s the pitch shape: Title: BOBA FETT: OUTER RIM Tone: Andor grit + Mandalorian myth + Deadpool dry violence-humor, but not full clown chaos. More like: two dangerous professionals constantly surrounded by idiots, imperials, the republic, syndicates, zealots, corrupt governors, Mandalorian ghosts, Hutts, droids with personality disorders, and bounty hunters who think they’re tougher than they are. Core premise: After losing faith in ruling Tatooine like some dust-covered crime mayor, Boba and Fennec leave Mos Espa under trusted control and go roaming. Not as bounty hunters exactly. Not heroes. Not villains. They become problem-solvers for the parts of the galaxy the New Republic ignores and the Empire’s remnants exploit. Basically: “We don’t save people. We remove problems.” “That sounds like saving people.” “Don’t ruin it.” First Arc: “The Price of Mercy” A former Imperial black-site scientist has gone missing in the Outer Rim. Every faction wants him: New Republic intelligence, Crimson Dawn remnants, a Hutt splinter house, Mandalorian hardliners, and a cult-like syndicate using kidnapped children as leverage. Boba takes the contract because the money is obscene. Fennec takes it because she sees the trap before anyone else does. But then they discover the scientist did not run away with weapons data. He ran away with a group of modified clone children.. failed Imperial experiments created from old Kaminoan research. That hits Boba like a seismic charge in the soul. Now the contract becomes a problem: deliver the scientist and children, and get rich. Or burn half the underworld to ash protecting people Boba never wanted to care about. Fennec calls him on it: “You’re doing that thing again.” “What thing?” “Pretending this isn’t personal.” The Boba/Fennec dynamic: This is where the gold is. 😏 Boba is the armored myth trying not to become soft. Fennec is the assassin who sees through him and enjoys needling him. They should bicker like two old wolves. Not romantic necessarily... (maybe somewhat) Better than that: dangerous loyalty. She is the only one who can say: “You are very dramatic for a man who says twelve words a week.” And he just stares. Then later, when twenty mercenaries surround them: Fennec: “Still doing diplomacy?” Boba: “No.” Fennec: “Good. I was getting bored.” Cue violence ballet. Episode structure: Episode 1 “No Throne on Tatooine” Boba realizes ruling makes him predictable. Fennec warns him that predictability gets you killed. They accept a quiet off-world job. Episode 2 “The Man Who Sold Ghosts” They hunt the missing scientist through a scrapyard moon full of dead Imperial tech and scavenger clans. Episode 3 “Children of Kamino” The twist: clone children. Boba’s past ignites. He does not say much, but the helmet stays off longer than usual. Episode 4 “Fennec Shand Dies Twice” Fennec’s old employer comes calling. We get her backstory, but sharp and unsentimental. No sob story. Just scars with knives in them. Episode 5 “The Hutt Without a Name” A new Hutt crime heir is introduced: younger, smarter, less theatrical, more corporate. Absolutely disgusting in a silk-gloved way. Episode 6 “A Better Kind of Monster” Boba and Fennec decide they are not handing over the children. The galaxy’s predators realize the old bounty hunter has become something worse: selective. Episode 7 “The Cost of the Code” Everything collapses. One of Boba’s allies betrays him. Fennec nearly dies. The children are taken. Episode 8 “Outer Rim” Boba and Fennec launch an impossible assault on a syndicate fortress hidden inside a derelict Star Destroyer. Boba rides the line between vengeance and mercy. Fennec gets the kill of the season. The children escape. Final beat: the New Republic offers them official covert work. Boba refuses. Fennec says: “You hate paperwork.” “I hate chains.” “Same thing.” Then a new message comes in. Unknown sender. Old Mandalorian sigil. Coordinates only. Season two hook. 😏 The key rules: No constant cameos. No “look who walked in from another show.” No cheap nostalgia parade. Use the galaxy as a haunted frontier. Let Boba and Fennec walk through the machinery of power, crime, empire, family, clones, faith, and survival. The pitch line is: Boba Fett and Fennec Shand become the Outer Rim’s worst rumor — two killers with a code, taking jobs no government will touch and making monsters afraid of the dark.
