VRS Technicality trivia -> Decay and LAN wins All matches in VRS will start decaying exactly 30 days (down to the millisecond) after the match finishes. This means that matches completed after app. 19 CET today (Sat. 07-03-2026) will have no decay in VRS (100% value). We mostly focus on this decay for LAN wins, because in this VRS component each win have the same value (1.000) no matter opponent or event, meaning it is only ever devalued by time decay. Only your 10 best (most recent) LAN wins count at any given ranking cutoff. It will be interesting how many teams, if any, will get 10 new LAN wins from today until the April 6th. As it is the 5th highest average LAN Win rating that all other teams are compared against, it would require 5 teams to getting 10 new LAN wins before April 6th to raise the "LAN win cap" to the maximum (a 1.000 average). In the major race I think it's fair to say that the higher the LAN Win cap is raised, the better for the contender teams. The lower it remains the better for the established tier 1 teams which are not playing extra LANs to grind LAN wins outside tier 1 events. This is because there will be established tier 1 teams which, as their planning looks, will get nowhere near the LAN win cap, meaning that contender teams have an opportunity to gain significant points on such a team from grinding LAN wins successfully in Open LANs. If a tier 1 team like Spirit, FURIA, etc wins both EPL and BLAST Open they can at best get 8 new LAN wins. A team like FaZe currently have an average LAN win rating of just 0.474 which means that if the LAN win cap gets really high, then contender teams can gain twice as many LAN win points in the VRS model as FaZe, if FaZe doesn't get any more LAN wins before April 6th. B8's average LAN win rating is even lower, just 0.435 These low LAN win ratings is the ONLY reason these teams are in any danger of missing the major.

‼️MEINE NEUE ROLLE BEI @FOKUSCLANGG ‼️ Nachdem ich mich die letzten Monate bei FOKUS primär auf das VALORANT Team konzentriert und das aktuelle Lineup aufgebaut habe, folgt nun der nächste Entwicklungsschritt für mich. Mittlerweile arbeite ich Fulltime für FOKUS und unterstütze dabei vor allem @realEggoo im Teammanagement von all unseren Esports Teams. Sehr bald startet auch die neue Icon League Saison für die FOKUS Eagles und nach dem Abschluss des ersten Splits, verändert sich dadurch meine Rolle. Ich bin nun auch für das Icon League Team von FOKUS verantwortlich und folgerichtig gebe ich die Hauptverantwortung für das VALORANT Team an @knyVAL ab, der ab sofort der Head Coach des Teams ist. Ich werde ihn als Assistant Coach unterstützen und gemeinsam werden wir dafür sorgen, dass wir wieder ganz nach oben kommen. Meine neue Rolle sieht also so aus: - Assistant Coach für FOKUS VALORANT - Support von Eggo im Teammanagement von allen Teams - Hauptverantwortung für das Team Management der FOKUS Eagles Ich freue mich sehr über das entgegengebrachte Vertrauen, einen solch komplexen Aufgabenbereich übernehmen zu dürfen und basically einen absoluten Traumjob in Vollzeit zu machen! Auch die Reaktion des VALORANT Teams war sehr positiv und verständnisvoll! Ich hoffe auf eine erfolgreiche gemeinsame Zukunft in allen Bereichen, egal ob in Valo, den anderen Esports oder mit den Eagles! - FOKUS ist eine unfassbar geile Organisation und mittlerweile wie eine Familie für mich. ❤️ #FULLFOKUS #123FOKUS
