Lot of people focused on @100T_CS VRS grind, their ranking climbing and story. There were another team slowly climbing which is @fokusclancs lead by @kubenCS2 which just won PGL Bucharest slot all the way from open quals. Big congratz my friend! ❤️

After our game vs Ecstatic, I learned that my brother suddenly passed away. I’ve flown home to be with my family. Tough times, but I’ll try to be back as soon as I can. Proud of the boys for qualifying for Malta ❤️

Facebook reminded me that on this day, 10 years ago, the worst CS tournament in history took place. My company at the time was contracted by a Slovenian venture called The Gaming Resorts to handle event production in Portorož, Slovenia, and deliver a CSGO tournament. What followed was a disaster. Missing PCs, unpaid hotel, players and teams never got paid, our production crew never got paid, and we even had to cover some of the costs ourselves just to ensure players and talent could reach their next event. @theScoreesports later captured the story in a video titled 'The Worst CSGO Tournament Ever', which fairly explains what happened: youtu.be/RseSw5AyrYw

What a run it has been from @G2esports extremely strong individual plays, pure raw skill. Who’ll get mvp?

This @AuroraCS2_GG in the EWC final reminds me of @mousesports in IEM Cologne Final. Winning the semifinal drained so much of their energy that today they’re clearly lacking the power. You can see occasional sparks, but as a team @1mongolz look much stronger overall.

Back in the 1.6 days the biggest enemy for a team dominating throughout the whole season was winter/summer break. As far as I remember none of the teams could have returned to their outstanding performance

I AM AN IRONMAN!! 😭😭😭😭 I finished what I started 10+ years ago, I finished a promise I made with myself. From a 132kg overweight young mess, to an Ironman is beyond what I ever taught possible. I used to look at myself in the mirror, hating the reflection. Hating the psychical limitations, hating what I had become. Today marks the day where my journey ended. I hope and I know I’ve inspired a ton of gamers who like me, felt the same thing. Even 10 years after my weight loss I get people reaching out in the DMs, asking for help. Don’t ever stop, I wish I had the same opportunity when I was in my situation 10 years ago! The race itself went above ALL expectations, I was close not even taking the start, as I’ve been down with a flu for 7 days. Yesterday was the first time the fever settled down, and this morning I went in with the mindset of just trying my best to finish the race. I ended up 27th/313 on my age-group and 129th / 2025th overall. Finishing my Ironman in 9 hours, and 9 minutes ❤️ A heartfelt thanks to each and everyone who’s send supportive messages. Equally big thanks to each and everyone who cheered for me at the curse, it meant more than you’d probably imagine. Also thanks to BLAST for allowing me to leave Malta a week earlier, EFG for helping with my training equipment when possible, and all my fucking awesome talent co-workers. I know you haven’t seen me much outside of work, was busy in my room 😏 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@SPUNJ I think this would lead to more YOLO picks, especially from underdogs which I like. Live player reactions would add an emotional layer to the whole experience, as it used to be at the majors

I'm not married to this opinion but my gut is telling me a veto should be done as close to the start of a match as possible.. not 1-1.5 hours before a game starts. I understand it makes it easier for the TO but it takes _some_ of the surprise gamesmanship out of the veto game.

@pimpwinneche It would definitely increase the pressure and force the opponent to adapt more quickly, but it would also bring some extra chaos. However, allowing the opposing team to call a timeout right after the first one ends would add even more spice to the situation.

@kubenCS2 Good question hmm. I’d lean towards completely blocked as that would force the team to adress what the other team may have changed in the freezetime applying even more pressure after the time-out.

Timeouts in CS2 thought experiment: Each team currently got 3 time-outs, that's been the case for quite some time. With the change from MR15 --> MR12 I think there is maybe a case to be made that could change? Either of the two suggestions below is something I'd like to hear some honest feedback on. I haven't made up my mind either. Suggestion 1: Make it so it's only the team who takes the timeout, that's allowed to actively talk. It would potentially make the time-outs more powerful as only the side taking the time-out get's to adjust. Could create interesting dynamics where the time-outs and their impact is far more important. Suggestion 2: Narrow it down to 2 time-outs per team in regular time. That's a total of 4 timeouts troughout a 24 round game, where pistol, and first buy-round almost always is planned ahead. I like suggestion 1 more than 2. I think that would be such a cool way of giving the time-outs more power, and create storylines within the game where momentum can change, depending on timing of X Y Z time-out. Let me hear what you think!
