@elimcgowan I grew up with this mindset "stay at home daughters". It didn't save me from being any less hurt or used. Just exposed me to abusive men and people who like to take advantage. I have since learned to put on my armor.I don't speak to my parents. It was only about control.

@dsawyer You don't have grooming scissors? They're cheap! Methinks you need hygiene tools and not to complain about gender. My husband has a shop vac I may not use(I have a household one), drills I may not use, saw i can't touch, I also can't reorganize his work table etc, I respect that.

@DaleStarkA10 I was homeschooled, knew several kids raised in quiverfull movement. They would beg to differ. Many went hungry, were not properly educated, and lacked resources. Their parents couldn't give proper attention and many kids parentified. The moms were exhausted.

Well based on the responses yesterday I think I’ve figured out the real reason why people aren’t getting married & It’s not that women are “choosing careers over marriage.” it’s that Men don’t want to get married because they think modern women are fat insufferable bitches with nothing to offer. Glad we got to the bottom of this & thank u to all who contributed. Case closed :)

Can someone explain to me the actual definition of a "girl boss"? Is it just a woman with a job? A woman climbing the corporate ladder? A woman who works in HR? Middle management? High income? Someone who actually enjoys her work? A founder running her own business? Is working acceptable only when it’s tied to survival but if you work for the geniune love of your craft instead of necessity, are now an evil girl boss? Is the problem success? Leadership? Ambition? Money? Vibes? I literally cannot tell wtf people are even talking about anymore within this "girl boss" discourse so I need some clarification please.
