Great to see the first floodlight game being honoured by @LordMayorDublin . Here is the programme from the game in 1953. Drumcondra faced @saintmirrenfc Benny Henderson starred in a 2-0 home win. Senator Clarkin, the then Lord Mayor turned on the lights.

🏆 100 years ago today @shelsfc won their 1st League of Ireland. A 4-1 win over St. James's Gate confirmed the first of 14 league titles to date.

One stat I hadn't yet noted: On four occasions this season, Derry City featured four Northern Ireland internationals in a Starting XI. The last time I'm aware of this happening is 1927, when Shelbourne had 4...all prior instances coming when one could play for both the IFA & FAI

@RedsStats One possibilty from the Leinster Senior League 1915/16. There's a bit of a gap between games but I haven't been able to find any fixtures that took place in between, so far.

I've gone back as far as 1984/85 no 3 consecutive 2-2 or higher scoring draws so far
