👋 now that April Fools Days is over, I can finally announce: after 6+ years at @mainmatter (aka. simplabs) last friday was officially my last day 😱

Reading through @pnpmjs issues, and Found github.com/pnpm/pnpm/issu… ... Pnpm supports yaml and json5 as package.json formats. This is huge! I can finally comment about why dependencies, and scripts, etc exist and group them together game changer. 🎉

I have become increasingly skeptical of voter polling in the last ten years. I don't know anyone under 50 who would answer an unrecognized call. Online polls are easily gamed. In person polling involves self selection. All this to say, don't be discouraged by polls. Please vote.

This is too common for open source maintainers, and it's sad. There is no customer support in open source. Users are collaborators, not clients. Users contribute to open source when their feedback is top quality: respectful, patient, specific, and providing full context.
