Come to Twitter for the first time in a week and I've got 6 new followers, all bots. We're outnumbered.

I love these rare moments where all the pessimism and doubt fades with the shining realisation that you're a legitimate genius.

@Theemptybkshelf Cloud over Lightning, because when creating Lightning Tetsuya Nomura literally asked himself "what if Cloud was female?" The cover rarely beats the original. But also, Balthier. And don't tell me he ain't the leading man, cause it sure as hell shouldn't be Vaan!

@Madonnabe122017 @stephenRB4 Scrolling through the comments for one that points out that "wherefore" means "why" and therefore an answer in the form of a location doesn't make sense - and there you are!

@stephenRB4 Contrary to what some people think, wherefore means why, not where. Sorry 😬 So, why in the goodly world am I? I really have no idea why, maybe I’m here to correct people 🙊

@Writepop Makes me think of Happy Mondays spaffing a fortune on drink and drugs on a songwriting retreat on a tropical island and coming back with music but no lyrics.

@doloughlin32 For me, the downside to self-pub is your story is unlikely to get into anyone's hands unless you market it well and thoroughly, and that may be more draining than querying. You have full control, but it's only for a switch that doesn't appear to do anything wherever you push it🎚️

More and more, I'm leaning towards self-publishing. My main goal? Getting my story into your hands, not the money. The traditional query process is draining, especially for someone neurodivergent like myself. Advice and suggestions welcomed #WritingCommunity #Imquerying

so that I can provide for my son. A friend who hasn't abandoned me tries to talk to me and my social battery tells me 'no can do'. But I don't want to be seen as rude. It matters what people think, and this person thinks about me. So now I have more responsibility. Eugh, ok.

Being neurodivergent prevents me communicating effectively, which prevents me seeking a diagnosis, which makes me hesitate to use terms like 'neurodivergent' in relation to myself. I think right through the gap in which I'm meant to respond, so people think I'm rude or stupid.
