“Brighton have a strategy. They have a clearly defined structure… every manager knows where he stands. Spurs is a classic power vacuum. No clear ideas, no strategy and very little notion of who is in charge.”
@SamWallaceTel explains how the former Brighton manager could soon be the one calling the shots in north London ⤵️

What a goal man. Freedom for players to rotate in settled possession causing big issues, especially Gross, constantly on JWP blindside. Struggled with that 3v2 all half Burnley.
This is the biggest difference to De Zerbi, structural freedom/ allowing players to make their own decisions with regards to rotating/ dropping into space and combining with others, and when it works, it’s brilliant to watch

Brighton are normally rubbish after an international break. Brighton are normally rubbish against teams in the bottom three.
19th place Burnley 0-2 Brighton after three weeks off is a massive result for #BHAFC 👇

RDZ has a really tough job here
I think forget managers and ownership, these Spurs players are a disgrace.
Yes the board shoulder some blame, but I completely agree with Carragher’s comments. Players take responsibility for these results as well. And to not even get a couple of half decent results, even by chance, with those players, many of whom are established PL regulars and internationals is outrageous.
Now we have the chance to twist the knife next.
And unfortunately this fixture is bad timing for RDZ, we have a club packed with players, staff and analysts who know how he thinks about the game, his strategy. And POSSIBLY, Hurzeler is the worst kind of manager for RDZ to face, as FH will happily low block if needed.
Will always be grateful for RDZ’s first season with us, but with their money Spurs could be our Euro rivals if they survive.
We have to get a result and make sure they’re relegated.
