We are fortunate in Wales in that all new social house has to have solar, battery, heat pump and an EV charger. We need more housing stock to have it when they are built. Lots of people who can afford it also look at it like and investment in the stock market and want a bigger and faster return so they choose not to. I looked at it as in energy security for my family. Politics drives me mad so this is some independence from that. Wats rage on and I have no control but i can control in part where some of my energy comes from and the sun doesn't have to bow to the madness we are seeing at the moment.

In six days i've produced 176 kWh of electricty from my roof in Wales. The average home in the UK uses between 50 and 70 kWh a week. It's March. We have war. Strikes on world power supplies and fear. Energy security for your home is fantastic! We need more rooftop solar and battery storage. I can use this electricty to, cook, clean clothes, heat hot water and even add some charge to my car all without any interfence from the world. Let me explain what just happened 👇 5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil. 5 minutes… These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the entire market. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch. There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made. Someone in that room picked up a phone. And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars. American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it. This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions. This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight. You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question. Nobody will be investigated. Nobody will be charged. By tomorrow this will be buried under the next satisfying headline. Just like last time. And the time before that. The game is rigged. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore…

@Cryptic_Giraffe We already know it's a big waste of money. Even the official government figures show it. At this point the priority is damage limitation. Old Oak Common has the Elizabeth Line, so is more convenient than Euston for most of London.

HS2 bosses should scrap the terminus at Euston and the spur into Birmingham. These are big savings. Tinkering with the contracts is unlikely to save much, especially given current cost pressures and risks. #HS2

I’d like to know all your opinions in the comments? I’ve just paid £1.70 a litre for diesel. Why are we not opening up our gas and oil field in the North Sea? Surely by opening these and sourcing from our own reserves, we will bring our prices of fuel down, energy costs down, create jobs, bring revenue and tax into the UK economy that can be spent on the roads, the NHS, UK services and schools. We continue to source our fuel from abroad and it makes no sense to me! We should be backing our UK manufacturing and not let it go abroad! We live in very uncertain times especially what’s going on in the Middle East. Love to hear your opinion, let’s back Britain 🇬🇧 - Bosh ❤️
