We wanted to share some of the impact of your work: • In just three days, you wrote notes seen tens of millions of times. • More than 500 unique notes relating to the attacks and unfolding events are being shown on X. • Because of the new "notes on media" feature, these notes display on an additional 3000+ posts. This number grows automatically if the relevant images and video are re-used in new posts. • Notes related to the attacks cover a wide range of topics from out-of-context war footage, to unrelated or outdated protest/celebration videos, to fake videos made with game simulators, to claims of US funding related to conflict, to claims about specific events having taken place in the conflict, and more. You can see examples on @HelpfulNotes To further help contributors and people on X, we’re actively working on: • Improved media matching that will help automatically show notes on even more posts with matching video and images. One improvement is rolling out today. • In many cases, we send notifications to people who have Liked, Reposted or Replied to a post that later received a note. We’re scaling this up so that it will happen for more posts, including even the most widely-engaged posts. • Last week we rolled out a massive speed improvement that makes notes appear across X 1.5hrs to 3.5hrs faster. First, you open up a Robin Hood account and dabble. Second, you follow some traders on #fin𝕏 and begin to see some TA. Third, you get approved for options and make a profitable first trade. Fourth, you blow your account. Fifth, you regroup and try and find a Discord or FURU for some direction. Sixth, you realize that Discord was a scam and finally find one that's legit. Seventh, you begin to establish who you are as a trader and make friends w traders who you vibe with. Eighth, you start to gain some momentum and start actually trading. Ninth, you blow your account again trying to hit home runs. Tenth, you re-fund your account and SWEAR you'll be disciplined this time. Eleventh, you have to reestablish who you are as a trader because you tried a shortcut and it didn't work. Twelfth, you finally begin to chart and take your OWN trades. Thirteenth, you're now a trader and know what you should do and shouldn't. Fourteenth, when you're disciplined, you profit, but you break rules here and there. Fifteenth, you begin to help others avoid pitfalls you fell into and roll your eyes when you didn't listen, just as you did. Sixteenth, you continue to refine and adapt to this market and learn what works! 💙
