I honestly thought I hated crypto twitter for a bit but it turns out all the great people were hidden and the ones I saw were the brainrot TikTok slop types.

There has been a lot of negative discourse around Alex de Minaur deciding to marry Katie Boulter on the same day as the men’s Wimbledon final, with many arguing that he doesn’t have the belief to reach a Slam final as world No.5. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Alex and Katie held a low-key wedding, which was a small, family ceremony in Leicestershire, but they’ve planned a bigger wedding next week, per @jessicaschiffer. The first wedding was planned once both players knew they were eliminated from Wimbledon. One of the most sentimental moments of the ceremony was the arrival of Boulter’s grandfather, Brian, who is currently “receiving hospital care,” according to the Daily Mail, which first reported on the wedding. We all saw how deflated Alex was after exiting the fourth round last week. He is the ultimate competitor, and anyone who argues otherwise doesn’t know him. 📸 Mark Ruane/Story Picture Agency

My uncle told me to buy 3 things: 1) Nvidia stock in 2011 @ ~$10/ share 2) Bitcoin in 2012 3) Compute as a service companies in 2022 Been encouraging him to make a profile and posting here. The smartest investor I’ve ever met and he has zero social media presence.

the other cultural equivalent of this is ppl buying bitcoin in 2011. what did these individuals know? & how did they predict the future so so well? if you find a person in this tweet category, you should treat them as your osho.

@Gill_Gross Nobody called it perfect. It was aggressive. Aggressive equals more winners and more UE. As long as you keep it balanced in your favor, which he did, it can work.

The takeaway shouldn't be that Zverev's forehand was perfect in the 1st set. It was far from it. He made lots of errors on it, FAR more than usual. The takeaway is that he had the stomach for those errors and that the appetite for risk didn't waiver on pressure points.

What will it take for the Fed to hike? The message in the June minutes: inflation improves soon, or there will be hikes. Fed officials were divided in their outlook for inflation, not in how to react to it. New post from me. Link at the end of the thread.

@TennisMyLife68 Crazy that Federer had 8 after not starting as early as Nadal or Alcaraz or Borg or Becker. Once he started he really got going an impressive run. 2005-2008 Federer was indeed peak dominant tennis.

@JebraFaushay The worst part is making fun of the fruits and vegetables. They dont even realize thats how real food looks like. What she is used to shopping is probably grown with a ton of artificial stuff.

A social media influencer walked into a small-town grocery store and reacted as if she'd stumbled upon a crime scene. Her disgust went viral for being completely out of touch with reality. But the best part? The follow-up video of two guys perfectly imitating the experience right down to the facial expressions. (catherineebs/tuckerthorn)
