Those who were banking on the endorsement of Hon. Danladi, Speaker, KWSHA by the Governor of Kwara State can now wake up from their slumbers. The Governor has now ditched them for Yahaya Seriki. I hope you can now see that it was a fruitless effort fighting and attacking some of us who didn’t key into your “Kwara North Agenda”? When we told some of you to look back and ask yourselves what Kwara North has benefitted from its leaders in the past, you couldn’t provide us with any meaningful answers. No scholarships opportunities, no good roads, no good schools or any meaningful infrastructural development in the entire Kwara North. Yet, we have always had senators, members of House of Representatives, chairmen, members of house of assembly and commissioners. How many of them have families back home? How many of them visit home aside election periods? Their kids can’t even live or study in any part of the entire state let alone the region they all come from. How many of them can point to any meaningful thing they have done for their people back home? Yet you expected the Governor to just hand over the ticket to you because it’s your turn. After this election, I hope you continue to take your people for granted or I hope you learn to make meaningful impacts in the lives of your people with the little access you have to power. Build capacity, build people and make sure your charity begins at home.
