@Damski32 I've never seen a team draft a QB top 10, then make him go through QB comp. I've seen them invest in making him better, with coaches or players before they decide to do this. Tua should be here as insurance not competition...

James Pearce Jr. had 10.5 sacks Carson Schwesinger had 2.5 sacks I get the 156 tackles were great, but I’m taking Pearce every time. Xavier Watts with 5 interceptions also wins this award in many other years. #Falcons

@RiseUpReader @TexansJacob I wouldn’t trade any draft picks for someone to start for 1/3 of the season. If Penix can’t give more than half a season to see what he can be, then ATL has to move on from him and you’re looking for a new QB in 2027. Leaving fewer picks to build up the roster depth.

If the Falcons hire James Liipfert as GM from Houston, how do we feel about Davis Mills as a bridge QB until Penix is healthy?
Mills has just a $7.9M cap hit in 2026 and is a free agent in 2027.

@allenstrk Some people learn from their mistakes of the past. Raheem didn’t seem to. That doesn’t mean Flores hasn’t grown as a person and coach over time. He’s a better coordinator than Morris has been. I’d like to think he’d bring a degree of accountability to Atlanta.

I'm seeing this clip circulate a lot. Fitzpatrick should be respected given who he is as a former player/credible analyst. That said, we got to allow coaches an opportunity to evolve. Solely judging him for what happened 5-7 years ago when he's done great in Minnesota is wrong.
