attending @claudeai Code Curious in London yesterday, reinforced something I believe strongly: the future belongs to teams who can turn AI capability into revenue-generating products quickly. The model matters, but product matters more. Clear use case, sharp workflow, strong UX, real utility, and fast iteration. That is where value gets created. Jack Dorsey just did a full interview with WIRED explaining why he fired 4,000 people. And one quote should terrify every middle manager on Earth: "If I built a company today, I'd have no management hierarchy whatsoever. The company itself would be an intelligence layer that everyone could query, have a conversation with, and build intent into." He's not talking about using AI tools. He's talking about replacing the entire org chart with one. The interviewer pushed him, were you just overhired? AI-washing the layoffs? His answer: "Our gross profit per employee was ahead of every peer. This wasn't about fixing costs. Something shifted in December with Opus 4.6 and Codex 5.3, they went from being good at greenfield projects to being good at large codebases. That changes how any company is structured." He then said the part nobody's quoting: "I want Block to feel like a mini AGI. Customers won't use our products, they'll vibe-code their own. They don't want more features. They want to build what they need." A $39 billion CEO just said the product roadmap is dead. Customers will build their own. I used to have a total of 11 team members, now it’s 2. I run an AI system from a Mac Mini in my apartment that does exactly what he's describing. He is correct.
