@EliotShorrParks Honestly a lot of idk on the roster out side of the top 2 spots. But many if not most spots are scary. One injury were potentially looking at the basement.

This is setting up to be the most competitive Eagles training camp I’ve ever seen So many jobs are up for grabs and very few rosters spots are locks

@ZBerm I mean yeah thats cool for an interview but that doesn't necessarily translate. Thats like saying a mechanic can be a surgeon because they have diagnostic and repair skills lol. Can the analysis translate to surgery, sure but there is a heck of a lot more to learn.

This is a major loss for the Eagles. Bryce Johnston was a a key figure in the Eagles' salary cap management and contract negotations — especially in the two years since Jake Rosenberg departed. My understanding is that the Eagles expected front office departures after the draft. This is a big one.

So far Howie Roseman has drafted the Biletnikoff Award winner (top WR in CFB) as well as the John Mackey Award winner (top TE in CFB) and managed to trade for Jonathan Greenard. This man is in a league of his own. ♟️

@ZBerm Not seeing the good for the price on this one Zach. I get edgre rushers with production aren't common but he's about to be 29 and we gave two 3rds and 100m for a guys who may have 2-3 "good" years in him.

In Jonathan Greenard, the Eagles get a high-level pass rusher to replace Jaelan Phillips and join Jalyx Hunt and Nolan Smith. They paid for him with two 3rds and $25M/year, but the defense improved once the Eagles landed Phillips last year and Greenard gives them that top-of-chart player for the next few years. The Eagles were interested in keeping Phillips and signing Trey Hendrickson this offseason. Getting Greenard fits their plan at the position. There might now be some long-term questions about how gets paid at edge rusher, but that could be a 2027 question. They have strong trio for 2026. (Unless there's another trade at some point.)

A lot of unknowns with Mannion, but Matt LaFleur has talked about his relentless work ethic and bright future. I’m much more bullish about him than I was Patullo. I imagine the Eagles will try to insulate him with some veteran minds, including Scott Loeffler and potentially another peripheral hire.
