@NathanMcNulty Have you encountered the Server 2025 issue where login fails after promoting to a domain controller? Any effective fixes?

More sysadmins need to know this… Active Directory is largely readable by all users, including the description attribute where potentially sensitive information is often stored, like passwords or jira ticket info (ask me how I know about this one)

Hats off to @SiteGround . Yes their plans are probably more expensive than the competition, but everytime I needed support, I managed to get my problems solved in a matter of minutes. Their "level 1" support is equivalent to level 3 support in most other companies.

We have 120 Surface Pro 9 devices at our school. When connecting Surface Pro 9 using Wireless display no matter what receiver we use (Microsoft, HD or 4k, Actiontec, EZCast) does not display 16:9 image. It appears as 4:3. While the Surface Pro 7 does. Driver issue? @surface

When #ChatGPT didn't show its work on a math word problem, it got it wrong 84% of the time. When it showed its work, it improved and only got it wrong 20% of the time. Show your work, kids! It's important! #mtbos #mathed arxiv.org/pdf/2302.13814…

Want to be able to use End Task right from the taskbar without having to open Task Manager? 👀 It's one of the new options added with the latest Windows 11 22H2 update rolling out - you can turn it on in Settings 😊

@sig225 @WallDrug My father when he was deployed in the Army in Okinawa Japan saw a handmade sign “2000 miles to Wall Drug” this was before Korean War. I remember all the signs when traveling there from Rochester Minnesota where we used to live.

@dhoeft @WallDrug That's awesome! There are a lot fewer signs around the Midwest then there were 20 years ago. But the place was packed! How did she find the notoriety?

YouTube has more than 38,000,000 channels. Most are weird vlogs, TV show montages, music videos, and memes. But if you’re interested in cybersecurity, these 8 channels will teach you more than a 4-year college degree:
