I produced this story, and at one point during the interview, quietly texted @KieseLaymon a question to ask Darryl, which he did, and Darryl responded, "That sounds like a Diane Wu question!" Within one interview Darryl had figured us both out. A deep listener. Hate this news

Arrived home and realized it’s the last time I get to dig the Post Magazine out of my parents’ stack of papers on the kitchen table and immediately read Date Lab the way I’ve done every visit home since college. Thanks to everyone who made the magazine, awfully sad to see it go.
