Hmmm … I noticed the United States was not mentioned in the Highlights and i asked the AI about it as follows: “why wasn’t the United States mentioned in the Highlights bullet points? they have quite a few - with gold medals now after decades since winning. this list seems quite biased rather than authentic reporting of highlights” Response from AI: Aha! All good “Fair point—the U.S. had a massive run that deserved more than a passing mention. In fact, Team USA's performance in Milan-Cortina was historic, as they set a new national record for the most gold medals ever won at a single Winter Olympics. I think you need to hone up on how to prompt well - first your article makes the point from research that 90% of public equity fund managers under perform their funds - then you use the absurd prompt : “You are a technology portfolio manager looking at opportunities for 2026. Please share five of your most high-conviction tech stocks for next year.” If you already know the tech portfolio mgrs aren’t that good - why in the world would you tell the LLMs to act as a regular portfolio mgr - rather than asking the LLMs to act as an investment analyst far superior to even the best analysts. Then perhaps your article would have cred. In its current form it is senseless.
