ZANU PF propaganda survives on intimidation and empty promises. Zimbabweans deserve honest leadership and real change for the future. # No to CAB 3

@BMakeyi26834 Look at this young guy [born on 23 November 1981 in Bulawayo] - so sweet & innocent - BUT would you buy a used Rolls Royce from him, or let him marry your daughter? A manicured image of total innocence! Yes Zanu PF's ONLY SKILL SET is PROPAGANDA!!

When opposition voices begin to sound like ZANU-PF, something is deeply wrong. Calling critics “unpatriotic” and threatening journalists with state sanctions is not new politics — it is recycled authoritarian language. Zimbabwe deserves better. 🇿🇼 Noto2030

The reason I want elections to be in 2028 suspended is that it seems Zimbabwe has been in election mode for the past 25 years. If we suspend elections, people will forget about them and focus on development.

There is a shift in the methods of political repression! What we are witnessing with Job Sikhala’s arrest highlights how authoritarian regimes often evolve their tactics to maintain control while trying to appear lawful or legitimate. Instead of relying on overtly political charges like “inciting public disorder” or “holding an illegal gathering,” they turn to fabricated or planted evidence as a tactic that allows them to claim they’re simply enforcing criminal law, not persecuting dissent. The idea that this has happened in South Africa and Sikhala is a Zimbabwean citizen is further meant to make him vulnerable as it would be harder for him to get assistance from Zimbabwean embassy and if there is a ruling against him, it becomes harder to galvanize solidarity for him as the Zimbabwean government can always argue that the South African legal system was fair and not politically motivated to rule against Sikhala. This serves to isolate him, depict him as criminal and more so a terrorist. Job is no terrorist. We are not stupid! This approach serves several purposes: Legal camouflage: It helps authorities present the arrest as a non-political criminal case. Psychological warfare: It aims to intimidate other activists by showing that ZANU Pf intelligence has a long arm that can reach you across the board. Hence intimidating people for opposing the 3rd term that ED wants. Narrative control: By framing opposition leaders as common criminals rather than political prisoners, the regime tries to erode public sympathy and solidarity for them. This is the new strategy, move away from the common political charges and go with rape, murder, financial crimes, and in this case possession of explosives that have been planted! Confuse the people a little, make it harder to galvanize solidarity. Job Sikhala is no terrorist, ZANU PF must go and #NoTo2030 #2030Musipo
